How to do pre-production

Pre-Production, as the name implies, is the planning and designing stage of any production.  This is where we come up with ideation and concept art.  We develop a look and style for our miniatures and an over arching aesthetic.

How to do post production

Post Production is what happens after everything seemingly is done.  Many artists mistakenly think that after the sculpture is fully realized that the work is over.  Not true.  If nobody knows your sweet miniature exists then what was the point?  All artists want their work to be enjoyed and consumed by other people so in the processes they are nourished and their lives are enriched just as the artist’s was creating it.  That’s what it’s for.

Keep it simple. Write one clear paragraph with only one idea stated in the first sentence. All of the following sentences should support that one idea stated in the first sentence. Then you can add specific details to make the supporting sentences stronger.

In order to write a good first sentence you should think about all the points you want to make. Decide which point is most important and then write that as your first sentence.

Sentences that follow the first sentence should connect to each other and work together as a whole. Use a consistent verb tense. Write about the past, present, or future, but don’t mix the three in the same paragraph.

Here is an example written in the present tense:

Los Angeles is an amazing city. It has a diverse culture. You can meet people from all over the world and all walks of life. Also, Los Angeles offers a wide range of activities. You can visit Santa Monica, go to the beach, or just chill in traffic next to exotic cars. In addition, you could even run in to your favorite movie star! You could buy one of those Maps to the Stars and spend all day searching for Taylor Swift’s house only to find a Taylor Swift look-alike on Hollywood Boulevard! I love L.A.
